Accessibility Statement

In an effort to keep information universal and our role as a nonprofit organization, Hope House Ministries or HHM’s current website is dedicated to making our content accessible for our users.

Throughout the site, we have a number of acronyms, abbreviations, data, and various other types of information that we have defined or explained in great detail. Any word seen that has a dotted border underneath it is considered an acronym or abbreviation (note: Internet Explorer 6 users will not see such a border on abbreviations due to that browser’s design). If possible, users should place their mouse pointer on these words if they would like to know what each acronym/abbreviation stands for. On some pages, however, we define these acronyms and abbreviations only when they are first used on that page. If you cannot view websites, you can still get definitions for acronyms, abbreviations, and more.

Also, on this site we use tables only for the purpose of displaying tabular data. We have programmed all tables to be additionally informative for viewers who may not be able to physically see the table but instead use assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers) to browse this Website. Please note that we only use tables for this purpose. No portion of the layout of this Website uses tables.

This site is also viewable with Cascading Style Sheets and Javascript disabled. While we use both technologies to enhance the user experience, we have ensured that all published information on this Website is available without these technologies.

Our browsers have been tested and optimized for Firefox Version 3, Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, and 8, and Safari version 4. If you find any bugs on this site or would like us to check additional browsers, you may make a request to Donald Wilcox via e-mail.

To make browsing easier, we have implemented a Sitemap which lists all public pages on this Website.

Whenever possible, we will do our best to ensure that any audio or video implemented can be accessible. However, given the nature of audio and video, it may not always be feasible to deliver our multimedia in the most effective possible way. We are aware of this potential setback, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
